Program Benefits
The recreational and social aspects of this program create an atmosphere of restoration and joy while learning new skills during the interactions with therapeutic horses. The on-going relationship between an individual and his/her horse fosters a sense of contentedness, empathy, freedom, independence and joy. mental delays, sensory processing disorders, social emotional concerns, sufferers of PTSD, non-verbal challenges, depression/anxiety, and life-threatening diseases.

As the program grows, we would like White Fawn Farm to be a place where families of special needs members can support one another. We foresee support groups forming as a result of the relationships that will develop from this program.
