We are very excited to announce that we just installed lights for our riding arena and will be extending our weekday lessons into early evening. Currently, we offer lessons Monday through Saturday. At the current time we do not have a cover for our arena so outdoor sessions during inclement weather are not possible. We hope that we will be able to add those facilities soon. However, we do offer lessons inside the barn that have proven to be highly beneficial when being outdoors is not possible.
1. Filling out a participant application that includes background on abilities and goals, a health history, confidentiality release, photo release, and indemnification release. This information is needed to fully understand the expectations of each participant and their family.
2. Receipt of a physician’s medical history and release is required when making application into the program for participants with diagnosed disabilities and special-needs.
3. An in-person evaluation by our instructor will be made. We want to ensure that the ability of the participant matches the classes we offer and suitability with the horses we currently utilize in the program. The cost for that session is $50 and can be included in the first group of purchased lessons.
The costs break down as follows:
Group lessons, up to 4 participants, are $50 and are sold in packages of five lessons or $250.
Private Lessons and Carriage Driving Lessons are $75, also sold in packages of five or $375.
The fees are due in advance of the starting each group of lessons.
Cancellations require preferably 24 hours’ notice, but no less than 2 hours’ notice, or the fee will be applied to that lesson.
Refunds are not available but can be used within three months of when the lesson package was purchased lesson or forfeit remaining fees unless otherwise approved.
For families with financial hardships, there are a limited number of scholarships available for those interested in applying for that program.
